Dawna took some pictures of David last week because we needed one for Senior recognition night. This is one with his new guitar he got for Christmas.

The weather here has been great this week. We have enjoyed working in both our and Grandma's yards. Yesterday David tilled up the flower bed/garden. Dawna and I have tried to start a few dozen petunias indoors so we don't have to buy so many. I think so far that with the cost of the starter trays and seed and whatever it is probably going to be about a wash on the cost. We are going to try to have a little bit bigger garden this year and can and freeze more. We'll see what happens.

We've been home for a little over a week from Wes and Wendy's and Laura and Bobby. We are also in Grandchild withdrawal. We had a lot of fun playing and reading to Shalon and holding Cutler. We just don't see them often enough. Everything was fine here at home. David kept the house reasonably clean and moki was more than happy to see Dawna. Grandma and Grandpa Durfee are doing better and they even went to church on Sunday. Work is still work but Dawna and I are grateful for our jobs in this economy. Here is a picture Wendy took of Cutler and Me. I didn't hold Cutler to much because I had a slight cold most of the week.

Here are some more pictures. We are having a lot of fun baby sitting. Shalon has been a lot of fun and Cutler is a cute little guy. We got this jacket from a lady Dawna works with at the Hospital that she bought some boys baby clothes. This was suppose to be a new born jacket but it fits Shalon just fine.

Here are some pictures. Wendy said she couldn't post till Tuesday so she told me to post a few of the pictures I took. Everyone is still doing well. Wendy and Cutler should be home tomorrow. Shalon has been a lot of fun to play with. So far she wants to hold Cutler. When Wendy is home tomorrow she will post more pictures to her blog.

Dawna and I are in Wyoming at Wes and Wendys' home. We got here last night to help when Wendy has her baby. Well the baby decided to come a day early before Wendys scheduled C section. She went into labor at 4 o'clock this morning and went to the hospital at 6:45. Cutler was born at 8:51 by an early C section. I would post some pictures but that is Wendys privilege. He is a cute little fellow with Wes's long fingers and toes. Wendy and baby are fine.

Just a note to let you all know about Grandma. She went in for angioplasty to check out Her stints which I hear is what Her doctor likes to do when someone has a heart attack. Her stint was that was placed in Sept was okay but she had some blockage in a different place so they placed another stint. She has to stay overnight but should be home Thursday. The doctor told her that she needs to work now on building up strength.

David was honored last night at halftime of the basketball game with the other jazz band senior members. All the senior band members and their parents were introduced.

I have some pictures that were taken at Christmas and here it is a month later. Maybe next post.

I didn't realise that it had been so long since I last updated. I'll give a short note and update in depth later. For those of you that haven't heard, Grandma Susie Durfee had a heart attack on Jan 3. She has been in the hospital tell today. She is sure thankful to be home. Susie Sheppard has been so great to help out since JoAnn had to leave. Susie picked up Grandma today at about 1:30 and brought Grandma home. Margie is spending the night and Marie is flying up tomorrow to stay for a week. Linda is coming up on the 30th. We sure have appreciated all who came to see Her in the Hospital and who have helped to get Grandpa back and forth.
